I see. Like I said before, the charms of a woman can still work even if said man knows he won't ever have anything to do with her, or even if he doesn't particularly want to, that's why they get pretty girls to sell you stuff.

That's what it was. He had a pedestal issue that overstepped the bounds of logic and business-like thinking.
