I have a similar problem. I can only blame past experiences where i lashed out angrilly at random people who pissed me off. After that i started to have a similar problem. Ive spoken to professionals and two gave me separate diagnoses: bipolar or schizoaffective.

I keep to myself a lot as well so maybe the idea of trying to talk to other people more is good advice.

Get another opinion. If the new psychiatrist also thinks you may be bipolar, why not try what they recommend? Its not likely to make things worse, only better. Do you see a therapist? This stuff is obviously affecting your life and functioning, so please try to reach out.

How does having your thought patterns relate to bipolar? Do you have mood swings? Do you do irrational things while in an elated mood?

I'd start with good nutrition as has been suggested in an earlier post.

My brain does this to me too. It's torture.

When did this start? I think the universe has a conscience and a self.

dub: Seems similar to 'automatic handwriting'. (It can be learned). In your case it's voices.
You might check out the 'mechanism' of automatic handwriting and see if it helps you understand.

Have you asked the voice who it is? What does it want ? Ask it what will it say next? Does it want to help you? etc.
Ask it something you don't know, and see if it has access to info that you don't. (I'd like to hear the answer to that question).
