Now, in these worlds, were men and women in the same world, and were then separated? Or did we know they were there, but were more myth then anything?
A fiction novel could be written along that scenario.
"The world went black and everyone fell asleep at same time and when they awoke there was an invisible barrier that men and women were separated but could only see each other from afar".
IMO In a man's world, it would be bleak. Early on territorial disputes abound. Food would be scarce as we would have likely would have over hunted nearly everything worth eating. We would eventually end up being productive farmers with heavily armed boarders. The games to entertain us would likely be of the ilk like ullamaliztli, and gladiatorial games.

Maybe like the Spartans. The sexes are separated full-time, but only get together for reproduction (it only takes once a year). Or maybe even use sperm donation and artificial insemination.
I am thinking of that right now. What would it be like if there were no men? Okay, well, maybe not no men, but what if I was immersed in an environment that was made up solely of women. Like a women's prison for life or a Convent or something... A place where you have to totally give up on the idea of being with the opposite gender and there's no use even thinking about it. I wonder what that would be like.
What do you think it would be like if there was no opposite gender for you?
(PS- Just a heads up, I don't really mean for this thread to turn into one where people lament about their lack of options or prospects. I mean it as something else)
If I believed in hell...that would be it. I get along with some women (and can get along with just about anyone if I have to (such as at work) but I feel much more comfortable with guys overall.
