Obviously why men always are always expected to do the asking when women want the companionship just as much if not more.
A reason for that or why that is.
Would you prefer women did the asking you out, the taking you out, the paying, the choosing of the activity, the determining of the day and time, the driving, the everything?

Well, no. But I think all of that should be discussed.
It would be nice if women asked out as much as men do. As mentioned I'd like to experience that once in my life but I do not think it will ever happpen.
Isn't that what men are expected to do, especially when it comes to asking and paying?
I think the one who does the asking should pay but I would offer to pay at least half. I doubt I will ever get an answer.
In the meantime I will go to another concert tonight alone. Maybe I will get lucky but I doubt it. It never happens but I will enjoy the show I am sure.

From my experience when comparing male and female sex drives; The 'average' woman wants quite a bit of sex from one man or perhaps one of several men she has a strong drive for. The 'average' man wants lots of sex with many women.
.....maaaaaybe....what I think happens is that women want to do a lot of different things with the same guy...and the guy wants to do the same exact thing with a bunch of different women! Guys get in such a rut - they think they've found something that "works" and they don't change it up....boooooorrrring! Maybe if they weren't so boring they'd see their women be a little more excited!

Well, it's not like women don't ever ask men out. I am hoping you meet a really awesome lady. You seem like a really cool guy. Don't give up, ok?

You might as well ask "are women really worse drivers than men?" or "are all the best chefs really men?"
Because in the above cases, as well as in your original post, the answer is an emphatic "no--it depends. Everyone is different; there is no one, silver bullet, blanket answer.
There are nymphomaniac women--as attested to the fact that there are usually as man women as men in a Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting--and there are asexual men who could care less about sex. There are frigid women and horndog men who make Bill Clinton look like a choirboy.
But if you are seeking a generalization regarding the sexual proclivities and attitudes of the respective sexes, I could say there is one that might be fairly accurate but is by no means a hard fast rule. Still: I would say it is correct perhaps 70% of the time, and that is: Usually, women need to feel more of an emotional attachment to their mates in order to fully enjoy sex than men do.
