I don't know how you can correlate a tattoo with a high or low IQ. I know tattooed thugs with genius IQs and college educated upper class people with normal or low-ish IQs. IQ has very little to do with level of education or upbringing. People got it so twisted.

Study suggests link between tattoos and stupidity
A study of 75,000 Australian men and women under forty has revealed a strong negative correlation between tattoos and a composite measure of intelligence, including IQ, general knowledge, vocabulary and empathy.
For women, tattoos on the lower back (commonly referred to a ‘tramp stamps’), were most indicative of lower scores, as well as other psycho-social markers including self-esteem.
I don't know if tattoos are an indicator of intelligence. More so, an indication of one's lack of forethought. Which happens ALOT in today's society. Nobody thinks about the future or the consequences of their actions anymore.

I agree, they're not thinking ahead and not thinking of how their "stock" goes down. Too many criminals with Tattoos so the perception is bad, its not a "good look" to deface your skin with chemicals and ink. Prospective employers have to question the emotional stability of someone who spends money to have ink imbedded into their skin.

My thoughts exactly. It's just not a good idea. Not to mention the fact that as humans, we change our minds frequently about our physical appearances. It isn't smart to get anything permanently etched on your body when you might decide in 2, 3, or even 10 years time, that you don't like it.
