I'm seriously thinking of getting a truck when I trade in my SUV. I am always finding something big I want to haul home, or moving something big from Point A to Point B. I just want to be sure it has a big passenger seat - that also lets up so I can haul my two big idiot dogs around (I can't put them in the back because they're stupid enough to jump out - LOL!).
I don't see what the big deal is. Here in Texas, plenty of women drive trucks.

Same up here in ND.
Come to think of it, I think holds true all over. It is no big deal if a girl drives a truck. No reason they should not.

I traded in my SUV for a Ford F350 long bed 2 years ago and I love it! I drive it daily and the bed is used multiple times a week from Spring through Fall with everything and anything! The truck is also used to pull a 16ft trailer with a compact tractor that I use on our property which the OP would probably have a problem with as well...lol!
I will never go back to a sedan (it just doesn't fit my lifestyle) however I think I might still want us to always have a SUV (my husband has one) for those rainy days that we need to carry large loads. However it will be my husband driving the SUV and me driving the truck
