That is utterly tragic for those dogs. (How many are there? You said she bought one?) If there's medical neglect going on, and if the dogs aren't being fed and walked regularly, someone should report the situation to the humane society.
Your brother sounds like the type of personality poised to become a victim of domestic abuse. He's showing signs that he could fall into that type of scenario.

One has needed to see the vet for two weeks but she canceled the appointment again today so it might be another week. Large rash inside his thigh. Probably from inactivity. They walked them once about a year ago and thats it. They just don't care I guess. It is not like they wish harm on the animals, but they are simply not responsible care takers for them. Hoping they never have kids. Neither were raised to be responsible people.

Those are loving dogs that will mature into neurotic, unhappy animals. Neglect is a form of abuse. You could at least ask the humane society if anything can be done.
Sounds like she stages the drama, dogs included. I feel for the dogs but holing up is the best thing for your sanity. Other than that, butt-out until you can get out. And get out now.
Oh and a little more info about the web she spun around my brother: He seriously won't even shower until she gets home so they can do so together. If he is watching tv or playing a game, she will make a demand every day and he will stop what he is doing and comply. He baby talks her. It is like some strange controlling mom/son relationship with sex involved.
Again, what your brother puts up with is none of your business.
Maybe you should channel all the energy you are giving to hating your brother's choice of mate, into finding a job and getting out of there where you won't be so miserable.

They're not his dogs. Why is this his problem? They belong in another home with responsible pet owners, not a bunch of overgrown kids who usually have no clue how to take care of themselves, much less a dog.
The two words that jump to mind regarding this girl are childish and entitled. To put it simply, she has a lot of growing up to do. The reason your brother puts up with her behavior is because he doesn't think he can do any better. Am I correct in assuming you are his sister? If so do you have any at least semi attractive girl friends who are maybe a bit promiscuous and would be willing to give the poor guy a one nighter or two? Put him in a position where he understands he has options and he'll dump this overgrown child before she even knows what hit her.
