Not sure where to post this... seems like a psychological insight... not sure if anyone else noticed this if they did watch this...
I was watching a show: Beauty and the Beast (about a lady cop who became a girlfriend to a guy who was a "beast" because government did experiments on some soldiers and "enhanced" them and so they started to have a "beast" side to them.)
And it may seem like this lady is such a great catch... but it bothered me how she constantly judged him for his beastly side even while saying that it's ok.
It's like she thought that she stood by his side through it all and she believed in the best of him. It's like she was saying: I don't care that you're a beast, I believe the best about you, I accept you... But then at the same time each time his beast side took over and he couldn't overcome it, she gets this look in her eye: oh my god, how could you do that? you disappointed me...
I would get frustrated with being in a relationship with someone who constantly expects the best of you and judges you when you fail.
And I wonder if people see that she is "a pain in his side" or if they are fooled by her constant saying: "I trust you, I believe in you" stuff.
They finally broke it off and she went with someone who is really "good" and I think he is a much better match for her. At least he won't have a girlfriend who always judges him because he won't give her a reason to judge him.
Maybe conscience is not a barometer of right and wrong
