Do a SUD *, SUD is a memo that turns down our emotional amygdala alarm.

* SUD:- a subjective unit of disturbance/distress.
On a scale of one to ten, rate the intensity of your emotion being experienced.
Say it's a 7; do another SUD and see if your emotion lowers to 6, (if not, then pick a different method, you have the option of many already offered here).
If you can go 'up' the scale, then it's reasonable to believe you can go 'down' the scale. (The scale is a 'two-way' street.)

I get to walk away and not have to live with it or run into it again. I pick my work arrangements very carefully after getting screwed good a few times and starting to work with more mentally unstable, passive aggressive and even psychopathics. My local community has such a bad job market, bad scams and bad policing, working on finding work out of area to leave it all behind and keep my health.

I just scream at the person who treated me badly. That helps.

Remove yourself from toxic people, toxic situations, and toxic anything in your life!
Trust me, I know this firsthand....if someone is toxic, makes you unhappy, walk away, and don't look back!
