You must have Resting B Face. I also have that. Even when I am in a marvelous mood.

The boots are great. I doubt they are going back. Usually shoes do go back though. I might score one pair out of 5 or 6 ordered over time.

I have to admit, I am so tired of cooking Thanksgiving. This year it will be just us two, which is actually a relief. But for how many years do I have to keep doing this? Until I die? Maybe.

I don't want to make dressing but I have to.

Heck, I don't even want to set the table.

I had to deliver artwork to a super-fancy art center yesterday. As I was climbing the stairs, my pants started falling. (I've lost a few pounds, apparently, from moving and stress!) I was holding on to the fragile artwork and couldn't just yank my pants up, so I let them slip, but tried wiggling my butt to and fro to kind of keep them from falling completely. Turns out, gravity pulls things down, not up, so my butt dance didn't work out well. But at least I'm on a security camera doing a stupid looking, pants-falling-down dance at the fancy art center and I didn't get arrested. Because we're in a First World Country and you can't be arrested for wearing pants that show your crevasse! It's a right!

Yeah, KA, I don't really want to make the dressing, the turkey, the potatoes, the cranberry sauce, or any of it.

I've done it enough that I could almost do it in my sleep, but I am not looking forward to it. I need to buy the turkey tomorrow and start to get it thawed and dry brined.

I don't want to make the pumpkin pie, either. But I can't stand purchased pies. They are always too sweet.

I feel your pain. And the powdered stuff just doesn't cut it.

I will be sharing Thanksgiving dinner with good long-time, generous friends - who are on the opposite side of the political fence, and talk about little else other than grandkids and football. Oh, yes, and cooking.

Guess I'll be asking for lots of recipes. I'd better read the sports pages for a day or two ahead, too.

Oh, and I need to water my houseplants today, but don't want to have to lug the watering can all around.

My slip on dress shoes are not very comfortable, especially at the end of the day. However my lace up dress shoes laces broke, plus they are a lot of effort to put on and tie and I have a back problem so it is hard to impossible to bed over to tie them if they come untied.
