My trivial first world problem today is I can't stand when people don't get satire or hyperbole when it's used in a rhetorical sense on an online humor discussion thread.

For some reason I paid my water bill twice this month. That confused the lady, and she doesn't want to do a credit, so now I'll be getting a check in the mail from them. Then next month I'll have to pay my water bill again.

My first world problem today is that I am getting sick of reading posts in the CD politics forum. It would be nice if people were willing to discuss real issues and maybe help undecided voters make some choices, but instead what I find is people posting all kinds of ridiculous nonsense about the candidates -- stuff that a only a 10 year old would believe. Stuff like how Trump is in a conspiracy with Putin, how Hillary is responsible for whacking upwards of 40 people, and much more similar garbage. Its almost as frustrating as watching network and cable news. Maybe some people are having fun and treating the whole thing like a game, but it serves no practical purpose. I've lost any interest in participating and am removing myself from that forum.

I can only glance at that forum briefly without my blood boiling.

A very first world problem is sitting on one's rear at home at the computer complaining about government, while not lifting a single finger to become actively involved in government at the local level. We're very lucky to be able to whine and be lazy.

That's ridiculous! How can anyone be expected to be taken seriously when they spout nonsense like that? Killed upwards of 40 people? Hah! She's only up to 37!

(OK, OK, I'll take it to the POC forum. Sorry to spoil the thread here . . .)

I just read somewhere that leftovers are a first world problem. Think about it. It's true.

We have been a one car family for the last week or so and I have let my husband use my car to go to and from work. I have felt trapped at home although I don't have anywhere I need to go.

I have a yard full of men. And all of them are hot and sweaty. But none of them make much money.
