I'm really cheesed at how the guys who mow my lawn rolled up the hose and left the end of it on top of the air conditioning unit.

I wanted to get a haircut before spending time outdoors for the 4th and having to deal with the mop my head has become.

And yes, I DO have a favorite place to get my hair cut.

They were closed Monday.

Oh, great. The mail's here AGAIN. Now I have to go out onto my porch and open the mail box, get the mail, bring it back into the house, realize that I have bills, open the envelopes, PAY the bills, and then put all the envelopes and whatnot into the recycling bin. AND I got a check in the mail last week, so now I have to cash that, too!

Oh man. It takes so long for us to leave the house. This morning we were going out somewhere.

Husband: I'm ready to leave right now. Are you?

Me: Well yes, i just have to get my shoes from downstairs and then we can go

I take 45 seconds to get my shoes.

Husband: Am just messaging daughter #1, will be right there.

Me: Oh. I'm ready now. I guess I'll empty the dishwasher.

That takes 5 mins. I go back to get husband.

Husband: Oh, I was done but you were still unloading the dishwasher. Daughter #2 is texting me.

Me: sigh. Ok I'll just wait. Right here, till you're done.

After a few more mins I start gathering stuff for laundry.

Husband finishes conversation with daughter. Yells downstairs to me "How much time do I have?"

Me: Huh?? I'm ready now.

Husband: Oh I thought you were going to put a load in. You can. I'll shave.

Me: NO.

Husband: ok lets go.

In the car now.

Me: Oh no, wait. I forgot my bank card. Is the door locked?

Husband: Yes. I'll come back in with you and shave while you look for your card.

Me: wondering whether to laugh or scream.

Why was it the "wrong" car? Was it not its day to be driven? Were the other cars upset? :-)
