Wife bought "a tub" of her favorite vanilla bean ice cream today. Out of 2 fridge/freezers & 1 deep freezer, there was absolutely NO ROOM for it. So she had to resort to cleaning out freezer and throwing old food away.....the struggle is real.

FYI...we thawed out an old ham bone and let our 3lb Chihuahua have a big treat.

Friend had a birthday get together yesterday at a restaurant - at 3 pm.

I'd already had lunch. Plus it was too early in the day to drink liquor.

I drank margaritas anyway. I mean, it was a Mexican food restaurant. What else was I supposed to do?

You did the right thing. Also, I would have had another lunch at 3 pm.

Well, I had, shall we say, a substantial snack of chips and guacamole - and birthday cake.

Then I wasn't hungry when I got home. Then I WAS hungry about midnight and ended up eating hummus. But at least I did eat that with carrots, so it's not like the entire day was a shameless pig out session (did I mention that I had Thai food - and not particularly healthy Thai food - for lunch?).

Friday was a FWP kind of day. All at once, I was extremely hungry, wanted sex, and wanted to go out to Game Night at the social club where I hang out. There wasn't time for all of the things. I actually had to wait until Saturday morning to have sex. Man, life is tough I tell ya.

I had no Eclipse sunglasses today and I had to put 3 dark glasses together.

We only had half of the eclipse. I wanted more.

I just changed Cable TV Companies. Now I have to learn the new remote buttons and where all my favorite TV channels are located.

The totality period of the eclipse today didn't last long enough. I mean, how was I expected to take my usual amount of selfies to show how totes adorbs I was in my amazeballs eclipse glasses, post my feelings about the eclipse on Twitter (cray-cray, just cray-cray....), and check to see what all my friends had to say in that short a period of time?

I felt quite pressured myself, and we didn't even have a total eclipse. Doesn't the universe realize how much federal income tax I pay every year? I don't qualify for health care subsidies but you'd think I would at least qualify for a total eclipse.
