This thread is good. I'm going to get meta here for a second, though. Sometimes this thread goes to sleep for, you know, a day or two . Sometimes I have little to contribute (yes I see the current irony) . Sometimes I'm not much in the mood for a laugh

OK, I've identified the problem. I await the solutions.

I rearranged the furniture in our living room and second bedroom. To do this I had to move all loose items from both rooms and those items all got stacked in the center of the kitchen. A lot of those items are still stacked in the kitchen but I do have a path on all sides of stated stack now so I have made some progress. I need someone here who can move some of the heavier items for me and put them away which will hopefully happen tomorrow. Then I can possibly get to the kitchen sink and get all of the dishes washed, dried and put away.

I have to stand up to turn my TV on. Or to change it to Netflix/ Hulu. It's an old TV. Very old, actually. It feels like it's saying, "You never visit. Come over here and touch me. I haven't felt a human touch in so long."

^^ That reminds me, not fungus, but toenail. I wear these flip flop shoes at home when the weather's warm. The other day I put on a sock with a hole in. Yes, I wear socks with sandal type shoes and while that in itself is a first world problem, wait, there's more! My middle toe stuck out of the sock. All day long it looked like my own foot was shooting me the finger. The nerve!

The bad news: I have eaten nothing but lemon cookies today, and I don't feel very well at the moment because of it. (Forgot to bring lunch, busy running errands on my break, no time, no food, oh well)

The good news: I have delicious lemon cookies to eat. (Archway frosty lemon soft cookies)

First world problems: So many crumbs...

Long day at work today. I started to drag after awhile and realized I needed chocolate to keep myself going. I headed to the vending machine.

Got there and couldn't believe what I saw. Inflation ain't no joke. The Snickers was, like, a dollar ...

I only had a $5 bill in my wallet. I put it in the machine and it was rejected.

Then I did the whole thing where I took out the $5 bill and examined it like I was running the anti-counterfeit unit of the Secret Service. Yep, it was good. Inserted the bill again. Rejected again.

Whoa.

I exploded ...

WAIT - ONE - [insert multiple profanities here] - MINUTE!!! Y'all charge me a dollar for each chocolate bar and won't take a five? So every time I go on a binge I gotta come in here with like four one dollar bills?!?!!!

I contacted my lawyer about the situation, plus sent letters to my Congressman, Governor and Senator. And I just scheduled the first rally for a multi-state boycott against the machine's suppliers.

I grew up on the streets of the first world y'all. I don't put up with that crap.

I just got a beautful pedicure today, and today is probably the last day of sandal weather.
