I took my wonderful man for a weekend at a luxury resort, Friday through Sunday. Combo up on Valentine's and his Birthday, so big lovey fun time for us. They had a heated outdoor pool on the terrace and a hot tub. Though we still had some snow on the ground, the sun was out and it wasn't terribly cold.
The problem? Apparently there was some kids' hockey tournament going on in town, and all of the families were at that resort. We went to enjoy the amenities, and the hot tub was full of children...so we tried the heated pool, which was ok, but not what we were really wanting to do. Then on the other side of the fence, someone spotted a bobcat taking down a bunny. The children all rushed over to witness the carnage, and my man and I scooted into the hot tub.
Unfortunately, they came back. Like 10-12 kids, ages approximately 7-10 I would guess, crowding into the hot tub with us. It was like child soup. *sigh*
Why is it so damn hard to open any kind of packaging these days? Whether it's a box of cereal, a roll of toilet paper or facial moisturizer I practically need to get the jaws of life to open anything anymore.

And I’ve had really hard times lately with facial products! Why design and manufacture products designed for aging skin, and then package them so aging hands can’t open them?

If they made cereal packages easier to open, I'd promise to pour some cereal on the floor. That's what happens anyway, and I'd be less aggravated as I cleaned up. So win/win.

I've bitched about that earlier in this thread. Packaging is the bane of my existence. I just don't even want to open things sometimes.
Yesterday I went to the ladies room in the building where I work and they have those giant toilet paper holders and it was filled with a new roll and I had to spin it and spin until I found the end of the roll of toilet paper. It took forever.
