Frankenstein created a monster. (a novel 1818).
The 3rd definition of the word 'Frankenstein' in the dictionary: "anything that becomes dangerous to its creator".

When we 'unwittingly' believe a thought, we create a perception. ('bogyman' is a example)
Our amygdalae are hard-wired to automatically react to perceptions.
We experience our "thought-created" perceptions; they evoke/cause emotions.
It's time we 'recognize' we simulate/counterfeit perceptions.
When we don't recognize creating 'auxiliary' perceptions, we inadvertently become victims of our creations; we suffer unpleasant emotions and/or experience dysfunctional behavior.

When you say to someone; "You hurt my feelings"; your looking in the wrong place/direction for the cause of your emotions.

You know, you could have said that in your first post. And you haven't posed a question.

I think this will be my last post here.

The 3rd definition of the word 'Frankenstein' in the dictionary: "anything that becomes dangerous to its creator".

When we 'unwittingly' believe a thought, we create a perception. 'bogyman' is a example of creating our own version of "Frankenstein monster", that frightened us, until we RECOGNIZED we created that "thought-perception'.
Do you think that was the one and only time you did that?
What if your still doing it with different thoughts but don't recognize doing it?
What emotions are you experiencing as a result of 'unrecognized believing'?

This is a good place to close this thread; (for lack of interest and lack of participation.) Thank you.
