If I think to myself "I need to go to sleep" then I get all tense and won't be able to go to sleep. If I think "I don't have to go to sleep right now. My body will go to sleep when it's ready" then I notice the tension in my neck releases and it's helpful for going to sleep. What is this principle and what other ways can it be applied?
I notice too if I think "I forgive all people and I love all people" it helps release a lot of tension too. Often I hear a crackling sound in my ears when the muscles tension is being released. Anyone else have this experience? What is this called?
I'm sure their are a multitude of things you could think that help achieve your goals. Sometimes I've visualized things too that helped me release stress too.
