Of course, that is a product of maturity more than astrological phenomena.

Me too so I'm not talking about opinions. I'm talking about the way people express them. There is opinion and then there is being just a jerk. Of course sometimes interacting with such people can be a huge waste of time so I don't always react. Only when I feel like it and think there's a possibility I can get through to them. For me always ignoring it is like letting them get away with it.

Yes, there is/was an obsession. I think it has died down now or at least I'm not around people that think along the existence and use of "haters". It can be pathetic and annoying sometimes. I understand your frustration.

the term " hater " , apart from being pretty stupid , is thrown around far too cheaply , ive only ever met one truly hateful person in my life and ive been screwed over by a few people who cost me thousands , i dont hate them , i only hate one person in this world , they were that bad to the bone

It is like some backwards god-complex, where instead of millions of people worshiping us, they condemn us. Where is the logic in that? Also, anyone with any lick of sense would NOT want to intentionally (or not...) make people hate them and keep that fire burning, because people are crazy, i'm talking obsession, stalkers, psychopaths, leeches (fake friends), people changing literally EVERYTHING about themselves to become everything you are, etc.

I think you got the point somewhere there.:-) Somehow, people can't take others who dislike them, and instead to acknowledge that and keep going, they obsess with that a little. They have to show the world that they up there and over it. I think they publicly showing they are better than the haters. And because everything is public and social and about me, me, me, it could look like backwards god-complex. Like I'm so much better, because people hate me and I don't give a c..., but it's some hall of fame thing.
Huh? I don't find that to be true at all.

It shows how stupid we've become when society and not just tweens have an obsession with "haters".

These people, affectionately called "stans,"* are the real "haters" because they can't and don't think for themselves like those who really don't give half a .

*A stan is someone who is obsessed with a "celebrity" and his/her exploits. See also "Stan" by rapper Eminem.

Nobody is allowed to have an opinion of their own anymore without being called a hater. We have become a nation of crybaby, oversensitive people who post way too much personal crap on FB and who are offended over everything. I can't imagine what our founding fathers would think of what is happening to our country. I'm glad I'm 61 and not 21 right now so I won't be around long enough to see the total destruction of what this great country once stood for.
Bingo!

Everyone has a "hater" (or "disliker" if you want to get technical) no matter how irrelevant they are because there's always someone that doesn't like you.
