If so, are they curious about what you post?

Mine could care less. I mention stuff I read here to him, but not personal stuff that might include him!

Here, as in, CD? Yep. He knows I'm active in a lot groups and forums. I've even shared threads and posts. We have conversations about the things I read here and other forums.

Yes and no. We both frequent forums and discussion groups, but with little to no overlap. I'll read him particularly crazy stuff sometimes, and vice versa.

He knows, but I don't believe he would ever go through my posts. He's very conscientious of respecting privacy, though he always comments about me being on the 'stupid blog' again. I don't write that much anyways.

For the record, I couldn't care less if my spouse were to read what I post.

Oh, heck, yes! He gets lost in his Facebook and net surfing, and I get lost most in emailing friends and checking in on CD. I have FB, too, but am not very "social" in it and, no, he and I are NOT friends in social media. Don't care what he writes or does in his computer and vice-versa.

Lol...I thought you meant 'here,' as in, 'Does your spouse know you exist?'

The answer to both is Yup. Sometimes it comes up naturally, as in, we're looking for a solution to some home improvement dilemma and I'll mention seeing something about it on CD. Or travel-related. Or some such.

He doesn't know it is this forum. Funny, I think he participates in a forum I don't know about. It would be crazy if he participates in CD. We use different browsers on the same computer.

He has his stuff. I have mine.

good responses!!

these are harmless forums.....an escape, a place to go to learn, express yourself, and maybe even laugh at times..
I don't think most spouses woulf care if the other was on city data forums.....much worse places to go,. on the internet. but yes, ive heard many that do share posts with their spouses

I ve got to share one real life forum story ...where real life overlapped in these forums...

ive been on these forums for over 10 yrs,,,,and really want to remain anonymous, its an escape.

I travel to many accounts throughout the state ,,, I'm in the food business,,and one place I went ... one of my posts in the food forum was posted on the wall .... the manager pointed to it and asked me to read it.. I thought he was going to ask me if I wrote it but he didn't he said he found it on a search and printed it out..

this was comical.....I never told him I was the real author
