Not a serious issue but need some advice on how to face this. I noticed people look at me while I am walking in streets and public transport, underground. I am male, 31, white skin, brown to dark and short hair, brown dark eyes, slim to normal-average body. I dress in a fairly normal manner, no weird clothes, scandalous: plain and usually one color formal casual trousers, shoes accordingly, plain one color t-shirt or fairly usual shirt, no glasses neither hats. I dont have any deformity neither tattos or piercings.
People look at me, most women, I havent noticed people laugh at me neither are joking or disturbing. Even when I am with my wife, they still look at me. A relevant detail: usually happen in Madrid, Spain, where people are too curious, I know is also cultural. I am not handsome, just average spaniard. I need advice on how to deal with such situations, how to behave well in such environments since I need public transport. Any opinion, any thoughs will be very welcome.
If they look long enough to catch your eye, just smile and continue on with your day.
If it isn't even that long, forget it. It happens all the time and means nothing.
(Weird question)
Who cares? Maybe they are thinking what they can steal from you. Wear sunglasses all the time. I love doing that. I can stare at cute brown haired guys and they don't know I'm doing it
She is mexican, tanned, little (1.52 m), slim, thinks people are disrespectful in this country and even more in Madrid. She has a korean friend that had been molested and disturbed in Madrid involving racist insults. This is the reason I am asking this, I have lived nearly two years in Mexico and I came back to Madrid, I no longer feel right in my home country, there is no privacy. Moreover Im quite different comparing myself with the rest of this society.
