Those guys are just butt hurt p****** cause a woman won't give them the time of day. The ones who want to commit harm to a woman will go to jail forever.
Unfortunately, they often do NOT go to jail forever. Not the ones who spew hate and death and rape threats at a woman because she dares to be prominent in the public eye, let alone some province of nerd-dom they think should belong to men. Not the rapists whose judges figure their life will be ruined if their sentence is too harsh. Not the perps of the thousands of rape kits backlogged and never analyzed. Not the posters of revenge porn or those who violate the privacy of women to "leak" compromising media of them online.
And the problematic fact of many kinds of assault against women, especially rape, is that usually there are no witnesses so even if there is physical evidence, it's his word against hers as to whether there was consent. So that means some innocent men will be prosecuted and/or punished, and some guilty ones will walk free. And there are often some pretty horrific social consequences for women who try to come forward and get any sort of justice, especially if the man is well liked by others. Can you imagine what would happen if a prominent man in one of these movements were brought to trial for assaulting a woman and her identity were made known, as it would be? She would be up to her eyeballs in death threats. She would never be allowed to feel safe again.
I gotta say that as the former spouse of a soldier and having known plenty of soldiers, I am well aware of the capacity to dehumanize "the enemy." That is the part of the whole mindset I find so disturbing, and I think it's understandable how hard it can be for women to just dismiss it.
Before anyone says it, I don't think it's ok in any fashion for a woman to do the same kind of behavior to men, or to threaten to. Wrong is wrong, and I'll call out a woman in a heartbeat for joking about assaulting or violating a man.
If there is a female flip side to the MGTOW phenomena I think we are seeing more than a little bit of it in this thread.
No, we're seeing it -- and a lot of it -- throughout our culture, and particularly in the tertiary education system, with its feminist/misandric domination of curriculum, the male-blaming campus life, and the administrative denial of due process to (the decreasing number of) male students.

You cannot possibly believe those words. It is 100% bull and if you've ever watched or read the news, you know it.
Mike Tyson, rapist and wife beater. Currently walking free.
Bill Cosby, admitted rapist. Presently walking free.
Brock Turner, rapist with witnesses. Served 3 months in jail, currently walking free.
One of my former neighbors, raped a 12 year old. Recently died, but before then, walked free after a few years jail time.
Every. Single. Rapist who has not been convicted because rape kits sit backlogged and untested all over the country- currently walking free.
I could go on, but I won't. I don't have to. You can find hundreds of examples for yourself.
I breezed past the reference, having never seen the film. When it was mentioned a second time here, I went and found a wiki that summarized the plot.
I'd be pretty shocked and disgusted that ANYONE man or woman, could go to such wild lengths and cause so much harm.
But, ya know, FICTION, folks.
The notion that men might use a character in a movie such as this, to say, "SEE! WOMEN ARE MONSTROUS, JUST LIKE THIS!" is insane. It's like me picking some male villain, randomly, from some movie, and saying, "See! See! You can't trust men, they're bad!" That would be...stupid. Crazy. Who does that??
Ah, now the truth comes to light!
To them, fiction is real! After all, they're telling themselves and each other fictional stories day and night.

Men have escaped a lot of blame over the millennia and not only that, but deflected it to women and made it out that they're the cause..."unfortunately" the pendulum has swung and I'm sure it seems mighty unfair after having had it so easy for so long. But if men are to blame then they're to blame and NOW they're starting to hear a little more about it...finally.

If men don't want to be blamed, then they should behave in a way that doesn't garner them blame. That's pretty simple. And they should watch out for other guys behaving in a way that may drag down men's reputation, and speak out when crimes are committed. Like those Swedish guys who called the cops when a guy raped a drunk woman in an alley. There need to be consequences for predatory behavior and criminal activity. For too long, there haven't been any.

If I replaced "men" with "black people" would you still agree with what you wrote?

I can't speak for Ruth (and I am a woman), but yes, I would still agree. If men, women, specific racial groups, whomever, don't stand up against wrongful actions certain members of that specific group are committing (specifically as an attack toward another, different group), well, then, it's just BS. I'm for standing up against bad behavior in general. Seems like basic logic to me.
