I don't know if its just me or its human nature. I dont know why their not transparent about wanting your money but I tend to like people more when their humble/nice and dont ask for money. I'm more inclined to give them money if their not asking for it or hinting that they want it.
There's examples of people wanting your money everywhere. If someones says something like click on my link and youll see my paypal, or buy my product/service, or donate, or subscribe, etc. It makes me not like them anymore or it makes me think their a "gold digger".
I understand everyone needs money to live and do things they want to do but I cant help but think less of them than someone who doesnt ask or show that they want your money even though they probably want money too.
I don't mind someone selling something. Doesn't scare or bother me. But if they are in some multilevel marketing group, and trying to recruit me into the business, that is what puts me off. Even worse when they hide their motives in the beginning under the guise of "friendship".
A person in sales profession is not a "gold digger". They are trying to make an honest living. A gold digger is someone who doesn't want to work for money at all.
