Do you ever do this? Say you allow yourself to be talked into doing something. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that big a deal to you whether you do it or not. Then, at some later point, you're chatting with friends/relatives/co-workers and some of them start talking about that very thing as though it's crazy and that people who do it are foolish. (Assume they have no idea you did it.) Does it bother you? Does it cause you to second-guess what you did? Or are you able to let it roll right off, realizing that it can't be undone so why go nuts over it?

I don't allow myself to be talking into doing something I don't want. I learned that lesson many many years ago.

If some people disapprove of something I have done I let it roll. I am comfortable with my choices.

There is a common idea here. You "let" people talk you into doing things and then you "let" people bother you with their opinions.

What doesn`t hurt you, doesn`t bother you. Sometimes it`s ok to let others talk you into doing things. It`s only human, people who say they never do it, in fact, do it on a regular basis.:-)
