I think these personality tests are pretty accurate.

I've tested as INTJ multiple times, and I'm usually pretty solidly in all of the categories.

The MBTI questionnaire has been around since 1943.

Any INFJ's on here?
No, but I am an INTJ and that makes us cousins. You will come across as a little more touchy-feely than me.

In my sales group of a couple hundred I was one of the few introverts and the only INTJ. The selling I did was technical in nature, so I mastered it and became #1.
Now I am retired and study everything I get interested in - which is a lot.

And it's taught in university coursework, specifically in the education department, which I thought was odd.

According to this page https://www.idrlabs.com/intj.php Elon Musk is an INTJ, which I sometimes test as.

I took the test on there and got INTJ. Same with a different test yesterday. It doesn't seem to me that these tests are viable or accurate but I am probably mistaken.

INTJ
Independent, goal-oriented, and resolute, you tend to have very clear notions about how the abstract ideas that you nurture in your head should be turned into reality. Once you have determined what needs to be done you throw yourself at the problem with an unyielding decisiveness that thinks little of other people's skepticism and reservations. Being extremely independent and strong-willed, you tend to simply ignore it when people protest that your plan is "impossible." Living in a world of ideas and strategic planning as you do, others rarely have the prerequisites, intelligence, or competence to offer solid correctives to your plans anyway. They rarely plan ahead and optimize as extensively as you do, so it is natural that they won't understand the full magnitude and importance of your schemes until you actually carry them out and convince the world otherwise.

ARCHITECT PERSONALITY (INTJ, -A/-T)

It’s lonely at the top, and being one of the rarest and most strategically capable personality types, Architects know this all too well. Architects form just two percent of the population, and women of this personality type are especially rare, forming just 0.8% of the population – it is often a challenge for them to find like-minded individuals who are able to keep up with their relentless intellectualism and chess-like maneuvering.

ROFLMAO

Okay.

INFJ's are 1% but female INTJ's are .8%. Narny-nar-nar (to quote Richard Dawkins).

I'm not adverse to saying I'm wrong when I am, it's just implicitly humiliating when I don't understand how something like this could work. C. Jung said a lot of stupid things, despite the cute smile.

I used to have a book with the whole battery of questions (150 or so?). I took the test several times over a few years, and got mildly different results. I'm always IS, but sometimes TP or TJ or FJ. My scores in those test sections are usually borderline, so mood can affect the final result.

I took the in depth Meyers-Briggs test which had what seemed like a million questions. The results took a week to come back and even before I sat down, I was telling the psychologist that these tests were really not serious and that people could read anything they wanted into them.

For an answer, the psychologist handed me the report and after telling me I was an INFJ, the first sentence on the report said something along the lines of how these people are skeptical and will question almost everything...

I don't really laugh at it anymore.
