Sometimes it a way for the guy who is successful, rich, and sophisticated well beyond the old crowd he used to hang with, to try to fit in. Your a regular working person. An old friend from years ago who now manages an empire, knows mayors, governors & congressmen, & captains of industry, by their first name, (slight exaggerations to make point) comes to his old home town and talks sports with the guys. I don't know how else they should do it but the sports thing sounds phony to me.

I’m watching a football game. Alone. Just realized I talk more than I thought (not yell). . I think this thread made me self-aware.
