So I have been in couple for almost a year. In this time, whenever he tells me about why he raises his child himself, and why he doesnt have any relation with the mother of the kid, he comes with different stories.
I don't know if he does it on purpose or what.
First he told me his ex abandoned the child at the first moment, from birth.
Then he told me one day he came back from work and saw her hitting the baby.
The other and last story is about he coming back from work and seeing the baby all neglected and unkept, and she doing nothing about it and not paying attention, so he got mad at her and they splitted up.

I don't know what happened at all. I'm a confrontative person, but it's a quite sensitive theme to treat. I don't know what's going on through his head. Maybe this is a coping mechanism, he is hiding something to me.
He is a great parent and all, so I don't care at all about his last relationship. What makes me uncomfortable is the reason why he is lying to me. In the 3 stories the child was involved and was essential for the desision, and in all 3 the ex wife, alleged narcissist, treated the child like ****.
I need to know how is his head working. Also, I received anonymous messages about he hitting ex gfs, i don't know how to handle it since there are many people that hate him and want us to split, and those are are affirmations without name or face.

I don't either of you but know if I got so many different stories about the child he's raising I'd be gone. Good luck, too many fish in the sea out there.

This guy needs to be your ex boyfriend.

And, I can’t help wondering if he has legal custody of the child.

You should have been gone a long time ago. When someone is constantly lying and lying about things..it's time to leave...which you should have done a long time ago. Doesn't matter how well he treats the child....He's not treating you well at all by lying to you..right?

All these lies make me wonder if he kidnapped the child. I don’t know why you want to be with somebody you can’t trust.

Dump him. Why would you stay with someone who lies this much?
