I don't have the ego thinking issues in my real life as I've gotten older and out of so much of the petty stuff and self righteous thinking, but sure do run into it on some of the forums here...yikes.

Whoa! This "ego" is invoked all the time as the big bad bogeyman. Are we all going to be talking about the same bogeyman?

How about giving a definition of what this "ego" is. Is it anything more than "I am"?

Agree - "ego" has many definitions - even within psychology not to mention various religions like Buddhism...OP give some details.
