I doubt it. Your personality is formed at a very young age. There is no connection to getting self confidence later in life. You can become more shallow, as you become more aware that people find you attractive. But that's just one trait in the narcissism spectrum. Everyone has some narcissistic tendencies.

I think the person would have to be a narcissist to begin with. There are plenty of people with very low self-esteem who are only focused on themselves. The world is their mirror. There are several people who have posted here who have zero confidence but can only see the world in terms of how it affects them. Many people with victim complexes are narcissists.
