Both of my parents were hair-twisters.

It’s interesting to observe that behavior while sitting in traffic. I often notice hair-twisting , head scratching, and what I’ve come to call scalp digging lol. I developed that habit when I got a chunk of hair caught in a pulley. It was torn out from the scalp. As it healed it itched like crazy. I noticed that scratching the area was very soothing even after the area healed.
