Just wondering if anyone has heard of certain personalities being attracted to each other. Is it normal?

Yes, is there a pattern of certain personalities who end up in long-term romantic relationships.

Hmm I wouldn't call it a pattern - what I have noticed is that people that have similar way of thinking end up in long-term relationships. For example there may be fights in a relationship, the two may not understand each other. If the focus is the problem, it won't go far. If the focus is finding a solution, it will.

Do you mean, like co-dependent people pairing up with narcissists or other personality-disordered people? Yes.

That is a good point, it does happen, but not quite what I meant... then again maybe it is. I wonder if there are other patterns like that.
