My youngest had his first anxiety attack (or possible caffeine overdose) last Friday. He wasn't even feeling anxious about anything at the time. He thought maybe he was having a heart attack. Pulled in to some stranger's driveway and called 911. NOT a heart attack, thank God.

When I feel anxious, I tend to feel it in my stomach and gut.

For me at first I feel hot flush, then chills, then nauseous, sometimes diarrhea, and if really bad it can result in a full breakdown shaking and crying on the floor. That hasn’t happened since 1990. That time was a combination of girlfriend of two years dumping me, guy I went to classes with killed himself, and starting classes in the Navy’s Nuclear Power School where all books and notes are classified, all studies are in class only, all study time is proctored through showing proof of ID and signing in and out of study, and nuclear physics at a rapid pace. All this within a two week period.
