You could argue overdescipline in our culture is a broader symptom of capitalism and hustle culture.

Too much positive, when let's face it, that would be a stretch with a child anyway. Why? It isn't going to be like that in the real world, and you'll end up creating a "snowflake", and if you are creating "pride" where none really exists, you'll create a very undesirable co-worker/friend/significant other for someone else in the long run.

Over discipline? There probably isn't such a thing. There is severe physical and emotional punishment, but that is not discipline.
