How about you? Do you know anyone who is an emotional vampire? How did you get rid of them?

Woofers
I had to travel for work extensively with one. I was so drained after a week. It was weird, I would get pumped up for a presentation/call and it seemed like he was feeding of the energy. A couple times I was not in a great mood and he turned the same way. It got to the point I just put myself in neutral when I had to travel with him. Not good for me. I eventually got another job.

No, I meant perhaps these people are not trying to manipulate or drain anyone but they must feel they are not getting what they perceive they need...that's all...

The people I am talking about or "emotional vampires" in general?.....and I absolutely agree with you there because at least they are being direct and keeping the communication open as in SubaruFiends case.

You've heard me talk about my ex supervisor. She was always so negative and griped about how "daddy was never there for her" etc.....but at the same time she was giving me a hard every day and refusing to give me credit for my good work. So, that is what made her pathetic and I did report her to her boss and she got screeched at too. ROTFL. The power of good verbal skills sure can persuade.

Let's play a game. See if you can guess!

(says in whiney voice....)

I lost all my weight and now I wanna leave my great husband after he had fat sex with me so I can play kissy-face with the man at the office. What to do? What to do? Please tell me how to live my life?

Name that tune, Sister!
