lol yes usually when the woman or man has a whispery voice and breaths very hard while over the phone I assume they are overweight. Most of the time I've been correct.

I must be strange, I don't get a mental image of anyone and rarely think about it. On the rare occasions when I do, I always envision everyone to be younger than they are for some reason.

I had this very thing happen one time when applying for a job. I only had phone communication with this person, and after, many phone conversations, I envisioned a small, gentle, elderly lady......

Then, when we finally did meet in person, this same person turned out to be a late 30's something, black woman with dreadlocks and hippie clothing....and she had such a cool, laid back personality, which was so unlike what I gathered from talking on the phone. You just never know.....

I've never met anybody from online, but when I speak with clients all over the country, 80% of whom I've never met, it's natural to form a mental image. I remember one client that I spoke to many times over the course of a year and never met. I kept having the mental image of a rather stern and schoolmarmish kind of woman just based on her clipped tone of voice and her businesslike phone personality. So when we arrived at a meeting in Atlanta, she turned out to be a thirty-something elegant redhead who ran triathlons for fun. Imagine my total and utter surprise. And, once we stopped talking business, she was funny as hell, too.

Come to think of it, there are a few people I do imagine besides the ones I imagine younger and they're older--like 10 or 15 years older than they really are. I never seem to get the age right--or even close. But I can't imagine past their ages.

Do I look like you thought I would? Almost afraid to ask
I don't know what you look like, but I picture you as a blonde with wavy hair. I'm probably wrong though, huh ?

I know me too...I'm always afraid to be flirty cause you never know...could be a female, but their name sounds masculine.
