Well we found a home we like in PC on dartmouth dr. The neighborhood looks nice and quiet. I would love to know if this is a safe area before we sign. Please tell me what you think of this area. Thanks to all of you who have been so helpful!!

That area is hit-and-miss. Not nearly as bad as the 1950s run-down neighborhoods just a couple blocks east. Dartmouth is close to 41, so anything you could want is just minutes away. Just note that you will have an 8ft bridge clearance (at average tide level), so no fixed tower, radar arch, or flybridge on your boat.

Just measure from the waterline to the top. Even though it's an 8' bridge, the higher summer tides could mean you only have 7-7 1/2' of clearance for a few hours at certain times of the month. Many other PC bridges are 10'. My boat bridge clearance is 9'8", so I have to watch the tides carefully to make sure I can get under our bridge.
