more than likely they will have an "i dont care attitude" since there are tourists and others that have no idea of the food or service. if they did care and were service/customer oriented they would have been in touch with you by now especially if they have seen this thread. another gesture they could make is to post an apology on this thread with an offer for a discount to readers here. that would be a win win for all. but at least they did not resort to the pineapple strategy of bogus posts.

Maybe this will help...

Smugglers Enterprises, Inc. - Punta Gorda, FL Restaurants & Bars, Entertainment & Event Management | Management

Unfortunately a GM for the Laishley Crab House is not listed.

Ahh..perfect. I just emailed Ron Evans, President & CEO of Laishley Crab House. I sent him a link to this thread.

Since Chris, the manager (and also said he is the owner) has the same last name I would assume there is some relation there.

Just want to let everyone know my card was charged the $356.99 this morning.

I spoke with the manager Saturday morning and he said he was "appalled" when he came in and noticed the check wasn't comped. At that point he could have reversed the charges. He chose not to.

Also it's been 24 hours since I emailed the owner of the restaurant (Ron Evans) and he has not emailed back. How's that for more crappy service? Looks like this whole problem starts from the top down.

Just got off the phone with my CC company and they said a food charge cannot be disputed because it can't be returned. They said it has to be initiated by the restaurant.

which you can kinda understand as a lot of unscrupulous people would be demanding refunds after the event. I guess with restuarants it has to be -as should have happened here- comped at that time.

Put a bad review on Trip Advisor with a link to this page.

Continue to call and email the owner.

These people are morons if they do not refund that money.

they are losing alot more than the 356.99. for all they know we might have had our next CD meet up there and all of us would walk away saying what an awesome place. instead this thread will be on my mind when ever the name of the restaurant comes up.
