Default Chicago deep dish pizza?

Hi all, is there ANY place that makes REAL Chicago style pizza. We are from the Chicago area and have only found NY style! Thanks!

I don't really like any of the pizza places here. Even though they say NY style, it isn't like what I used to get in NY. Some places are ok, but it just ins't the same. I make my own most of the time.

Here is the only Chicago Style pizza place I have heard of, but it is in Bradenton. * Restaurants - Bradenton, FL - Joey D\'s Chicago Style Eatery

I think there are some places in Sarasota that have Chicago Style pizza too.

Not Chicago pizza, but Joey D's in PG has other Chicago staples. The burgers, subs and fries are NSG (nicht so gut) but why would you order them when you can get authentic Vienna dogs, sausage and Italian beef (can't resist the combo). You can also buy jars of neon relish and Giardiniera, a little pricey, but less than a plane ticket. Full disclosure, the service can be a little "strained"; I just chalk it up to "authentic atmosphere".

I'm not sure about PG, or PC, but if you head south on 41 to North Fort Myers, just before the river on the right hand side, you will find Lenny C's. Chicago pizza.

Wed is half price pizza night, which we avoid because it's mobbed. They also have Vienna beef hot dogs and those beef sandwiches chiagoians like so much. ( I'm not from Chicago). But the food is good.

Go to SweetBay Grocery Store (some Publix) - get HOMERUN INN Frozen Pizza. It is the real Chicago Pizza. This place has many locations in the Chicago area and they started doing frozen pizza a few years ago. It is awesome and authenic Chicago pizza.

There is an Aurelio's pizza restaurant in Ft Myers. It's part of the real chain that also has many locations in the Chicago area.

I agree, Aurelio's is the only place around you'll get a decent Chicago style deep dish.
If you want a decent Chicago style thin crust, try Superday Express...yes it's also a gas station but the have good pizza.
If you're ever in Bradenton try Joey D's on 41 they even cut it in squares. If you're a true Chicagoian you know what I'm talkin bout.
