Best of the two in this area? I've always used Boat US in the past but
not sure how good their coverage is in the Port Charlotte area????

I use Sea Tow. They have boats at both Fisherman's Village and Burnt Store Marina. Both times I have called them, they have arrived within an hour. One of the Captains has a cool dog that works with him too. I've been very pleased with their service.

I havn't used them yet but I have sea tow. I always do my radio check on there new automated line channel 26. It repeats your message back so you can hear how your radio sounds.

thanks HH, just did that....after all the running around moving in here I forgot I had already posted that question..........Boat US it will be....been with them a lot of years. Only broke down three times in 40 years.
Without knowing I put my second battery aboard (it was an old dead one, DUH) did not have Boat US, they towed me about 2 miles............$350.00, never again...Pay me now or pay me later..ya just never know with boats and you can't just pull into a station.........
