Hi, I need to go to Orlando sometime soon by the airport. Does anyone have a better route than 75N to Rt 4E? BH mentioned something about 517 from Arcadia. Dang if I can find that route number.
Any insight is appreciated!
Thx

Good old Google maps.

See the route from Punta Gorda. Not sure where you live. Just type in your address to the Orlando Airport, it should give you the US-17 route. If not, drag the route to US-17 and it will recalculate directions.

Thanks Tammy! I did drag the line to 17 when I was looking earlier. B House was talking about 517. Maybe he meant 17 and had too many Yuelings when he typed it
I'm right by Charlotte Harbor so this would be perfect.
Thx

We went I-75 the last time we drove to Orlando Airport from Port Charlotte. The drive time was quicker than the other way going US-17. Just because you can go a lot faster speed on the highway. But if you run into traffic or an accident your drive time is not quicker. And the country roads you can run into a slow traveling truck that you just can't get around. Safe travels whatever way you decide to go.
