Pool party date to be announced! Yes the dogs are invited!!!!

Inspector was here, signed off and called the contractor to give his okie dokie. Concrete is ordered and the shell will be shot today. Pictures later of course!

We ordered the pearl color for the inside of the pool and are assured that it will look blue when the water is in it. So long as it's cool I'm happy!

I'm simply amazed at how this is all coming together. Yesterday afternoon the gunite trucks and crew showed up and in a few hours we had a cement pond. I was really amazed how they form the steps free hand, no forms. True craftsmen! Picture below!

If anyone would like to see all the pictures of the entire process send me a DM with your email and I'll send them to you. There is I think 25 or so shots so way too many to post here.

Yesterday the rest of the pool was plumbed over to where the filter will sit. Monday they backfill and start forming for the decking. Yesterday he told me they should be done in two weeks, three MAX but that is only if something happens. Our yard is a mud pit but a necessary evil.

Oh, the two workers that were here yesterday doing the plumbing were here during the storm and had to leave. They came back at 6:30 and finished the job so they don't hold things up on Monday.
