Awesome diary of the install. It looks like you made a wise decision going with Superior. Hopefully your comments will wake up the other companies that cause/give problems and give Superior an advantage. Thanks for bringing all of us along for the ride at your expense!

BTW, just jumped in our pool yesterday after cutting the grass at 5pm. Worth every penny!!!

I just thought that others might like to see the process, it was really fun to watch. AND if you look at the time line it is amazing. The start date and finish date aren't that far apart, AND we had a little delay because of TS Deby! These guys really have their poop in a group, they know how to do it and make it happen.

Very good journal of the process!! I think it will be a great help to others that are considering building pools and lanais here. This site is a great resource when used right!! {Thumbs Up nphomeowner!!}

Just thought I'd update a little. Superior's pool guy has been coming to get the water balanced, it's like the blue lagoon, just beautiful and we are enjoying it daily! Our kids are here this week from California and this pool is just what we needed. The grandson is LOVING swimming with the dog.

We hired a really nice guy from Punta Gorda to put in our sod, he was reasonable and did a nice job so that is now done. If anyone wants his name and number just let me know.

So, in a week or two we go to "pool school". This pool was worth every penny we paid! I don't know how we made it a year without one!

The final inspection just happened a few minutes ago. No glitches, everything passed and we are done. We will go to pool school once everything is adjusted and ready for us to take over.

Grandson leaves this afternoon :{ Hoping he can go for another swim before the long flight home. The dog was just out there asking to go in, told him to wait just a little while.

He sure is. He swam so much and so hard a couple days in a row he was so sore the poor guy. (dog) I knew I should have paced him but how do you say no to a 10 year old and his best friend? No harm done though, he's fine and ready to go again.
