I have a picture on my facebook page of a beach mr.cool's band played at on Saturday. It looks just like Florida, they have small palm trees (in pots of course) at various locations, and the horizon is all water (Lake Michigan). I sent a pic to HH yesterday on my phone and he was amazed! If I think of it I'll put it on here.
Wow, that DOES look like FL! NICE! Hope you get some rain really soon, though.

Nuttin' yet. Everybody's lawn is brown and crispy. Except ours', we've been watering. We have too much invested in landscaping to let everything die. The only good news is the heat wave has broken. Friday it was 106, and mr.cool's band had TWO outside gigs!! We're lucky nobody croaked. Right now, it's 88. Twenty degrees difference!!

The Guv declared a drought emergency yesterday. There's NO rain in the forecast. I've never seen it this bad.
