I wonder if Vegas has odds on that? I wouldn't bet too much on the construction actually starting then.

I would hope they take the bridge down awap if the road is going to be closed for 2 years, if not I will have to take the hard top off.

I doubt they will remove all bridges at the same time. My guess is they will do one at a time so traffic has alternate routes. Once one is done and open, they will likely take out the next. Now sure if they are starting at Harbor or at Midway....

I am going to like it once it is done, as we use Edgewater as an alternative to 41. But I hope there are more people involved in construction than the 41 bridge project. That thing should have been done by now. Never anyone working.

I drove down Edgewater today and see there are some (survey??) stakes out. Can it be that they're actually going to start on date?

In related news, they are going to start widening Midway on across to Kings Highway next year. Another road problem, especially around the schools.

After reading today's news article on NBC-2 on the sewer project and seeing the accompanying photos I think you're right. Same stakes that I saw; two together with yellow flags.

BTW, nice job on the Christmas lights! You should take a picture and post it on the 2014 Christmas Light Tour thread.
