Wrong--better builders most certainly do. My slab "cured" for 36 days before they placed a single block on it.

From what I've seen some builders use nothing but subs so just want to get it done. Widmere is building two of the three in our area and going up quick. I have no clue on concrete just know what I'm seeing

We let the slab cure for a minimum of 7 days on every new home. We always tell our customers to expect it so they're not wondering why nothing is happening that week.

which is sensible ,as stated earlier it will have hit close to its max strength, in theory concrete contunues to harden for a long long Loooooong time,
