The Charlotte County Fair is Feb. 1-10 at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds on El Jobean Rd. I have lived here 8 1/2 years and have never been. I heard that there are a lot of teenagers that go. There are rides, food, animal exhibits, and music. Can anyone tell me if you have been and if it is worth going? I can't seem to find the music schedule. I think I would be most interested in the food and music. The gate admission is $7 per adult, $5 for students and $5 parking. Free parking Feb. 5 and 6 and other specials throughout the week. We are going monday (free admission day). $2 rides after 5 so we'll take our son after work, ride a few rides, and get some crappy carnie food :-)

What kind of food do they have there? I am sure it is nothing like the NY State Fair. Do they have any BBQ food? I like fried dough, popcorn, and cotton candy as far as carnival type food. Maybe we will just have to check it out this year.
