We had a very successful time out on the water Wednesday evening. 50 pounds of shrimp at the dock today. Going out Friday evening and expect to have similar amount on Saturday morning. Come by to say hello, look at or buy shrimp or talk about the Iron Ox.

Default Price

If anyone mentioned the price, I missed it. How much do they cost per pound and how many are usually in a pound? Thanks!

I sort into small, medium and large. The prices are $5, $7 and $10 per pound respectively. The small are probably 50/lb, think "bang, bang shrimp", the medium are in the 26 - 40 per pound and the large are 20 - 25 per pound. These are estimates as all are sorted by eye and you may find medium in the small, large small or large in the medium, but they are pretty consistent.

Going out tonight and plan to have shrimp on the dock tomorrow, Tuesday. Will not be selling on Thursday, Thanksgiving, so come by for your Turkeyday shrimp cocktail in the morning.

Had a decent catch. No large to speak of but lots of medium - just right for shrimp cocktail.
