??? Nothing at ALL wrong with a small flats boat. I simply wouldn't want to be bouncing around out in the Gulf for 4 hours to watch the races.
Wow, what a good time though!!! We beached up on ski alley with several friends where we watched the race boats idle out to the Gulf, then walked over to the beach side of the island (only about 100ft walk) to see the races. Perfect!!!

Very nice. Can you share how to post more than one pic in a posting? I used to be able to but now every time I add one, it deletes my first upload.

I had heard the course was to be moved a mile or so north seems it wasn't , I was thinking that would be a great spot HH it must have been crowded with boats beached

I asked this question THREE times on their facebook page and each time, they deleted the post!!
Yes, every piece of sand along ski alley was occupied, some even tying off behind other boats. We got out early and got our spot.

I think you can only upload numerous pics when quoting someone (using the paper clip icon). I simply upload one pic at a time, then when I go to attach, is asks me to select one pic or "insert all"

Looks like your boat, Stihl, took the Superboat class and Iris Hulk boat took the Superboat Stock!
