will be interesting to see how houses in pgi south will be marketed, and what price increases there are as a result of newfound access.

of course that presumes no environmental group sues to block/delay this. there's always someone.....

I remember a few years back they wanted to put another cut into South Gulf Cove canals. Don't know the exact reason why it was knocked down.

So, I'm a little confused with the geography of the proposal...yes, newbie question. How will the "bird section" gain access to Alligator Creek? Currently the only way is through Poacher's Cut - correct? Is the assumption that the $1.5M PGI is spending creates another cut for larger boat access to Alligator Creek?

There was a proposal originally for a new cut to access AC, but it appears the most recent are for harbor access.
