Hi, we are ready to move forward with Schwartz Roofing on a new roof. They came in as the middle estimate of the three estimates we received and answered our questions no problem. Before we sign the deal thought we'd check for any good or bad experiences.

In addition, we are considering decking over the skylight and sealing off the interior skylight space with drywall. Any insights, experiences or thoughts on doing this? The skylight does not leak, but will eventually and not big on the increased heat from the sun coming through.

Thank you!

I don't know them but I had my roofing work recently done by a company called All About Roofing and were very pleased. We met the owner Mike several times and would use him again. We had a suntek suntube put in and we love it. No notice in temperature increase for us but it's only 14" wide. It does add 300 sqft of natural light in, which we sought. Good luck.
