I have to modify my bathroom with handicap bars. One by the toilet and two in the shower. I called Titanz plumbing and they said a handyman? They were not sure since they do not install them or did not have any recommendations who does. I called a handyman yesterday, but no call back. Go figure.

The one by the toilet would be installed in drywall and the two in the shower is in tile. Can any recommend someone who is a good and does these type of modificiations? Thank you.

Most handymen won't do it because it is too small of a job. Look in the newspaper under the Business and Service Directory and call a few in there. There are a few around that will do small jobs.

It is fairly simple, takes about an hour. But that is why it is hard to get a handyman to come by. You don't get it done in the next couple of weeks, we will have moved down there and I will be glad to give you a hand.

Florida or Bust, I had to take my neighbor to Unity Medical today and while waiting for him to be finished I picked up a business card from their counter from a guy who specializes in these bars.

I have no idea of his work or ethics but Unity is a pretty big company and if they let him put a business card display up he should be pretty dependable.

Thanks for thinking of me! Chloe also mentioned him too. She found him on the net. I agree that it makes him look better that Unity is allowing him to advertise in their office.

I just called him and he mentioned Unity and other places if I needed a reference.

Thanks again for your help!

Also want to give a shout out to Restrain for him offering to install the bars if I couldn't find anyone!
